Job Positions

ACE is currently looking for English teachers who are able to start working in January of 2009. There are currently two openings.

We are looking for teachers who are good with children, have excellent communication skills, enthusiastic, motivated, and identify themselves as reliable and eclectic facilitators of the English language.

Requirements

1. Japan immigration requires all English teachers to have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline (TESOL degree preferred).
2. Must show evidence of 12 years of schooling in English.
3. Valid passport.
4. Original copy of undergraduate or graduate diploma.
5. Certified University transcript (sealed).
6. Two additional passport photos for the visa to be processed.

In addition to these basic qualifications, ACE prefers applicants who have had past teaching, travel, and international culture experiences. Also, Japanese language is not required in the classroom while teaching but is necessary to survive in Japan. It is expected that hired applicants will have a determinations to learn basic survival Japanese.
